Growing Grevillea in Gardens
Location
Choose a spot that gets full sun to half shade. Prepare the soil well, using a soil improver.
Planting
Dig a hole twice as wide and the same depth as the root ball. Carefully remove the plant from its container and plant. Position in hole & backfill. To help direct water, form a raised ring around the outer edge of the root zone.
Water in well to settle soil and keep moist for several weeks to aid in establishment.
Fertilising
Feed in autumn & spring to promote root development, healthy leaf growth and beautiful blooms.
Tips for Growing Grevillea
- Lightly prune after flowering
- Ensure they are not sitting in too wet soil for longer periods of time
- Some people can be allergic
